Thanks... these guys are amazing guitarists. I'll never be that good. However, one thing that has interested me perennially is listening to Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. He never overplays... in fact, I find, it's very, very difficult to exercise the kind of restraint he shows in lead guitar. Kind of the exact opposite of Gales or Bonamassa. How the hell does he DO that?... When I played the little licks in "Deserted City of my soul," since I'm not so great at the fast flashy stuff—heck, I'm not even GOOD at it—, I tried to minimize and show that kind of restraint.
