This is spot on again--several years ago, when I had the down payment-I planned to move out of the city to the islands--where I had friends of several eras and a nascent work community--since then, the pandemic, the rise of property values, my getting older, the rise of interest rates--and several (4 out of 6) of those friends--for whom I would depend to build a community---have died--and now 'planning' has become a ludicrous notion--we can only be present to 'what is' and to step up with as much intention as possible--more than that--I find when I stop thinking of what I want to happen--what happens begin to take on a (I hate the word magical) but a quality of appropriate 'isn-ness- that what wants to happens allowed to do so--almost a welcome mat-----I think you will know what it is--and lovely to hear Flaubert protesting his exclusion--not fair
