The body has a wide range of urges, and I have to make my peace with that.

Forcing it or abusing it in order to come to terms with those urges doesn't work so well.

It's only when I come in to a more complete relationship with Being through sensation that the body begins to receive the material that is most needed to satisfy it; and in the absence of that, of course it turns to food and sex, and that whatever else which gives it pleasure.

There’s another substance that feeds the entire body that flows from a different level of being, which is in contact with the soul; and that is the food that’s most needed for the body if I wish to come into a more complete relationship with it.

For this, I need assistance. Life itself is a great force that can flow into the root of being and help with this; but it isn't going to arrive if I don't become more quiet and intentionally provide a closer attention from within.
