The peculiar flat-duck is a paper-thin beast
Whose diet consists of malt-barley and yeast
It frequents the marshes of Timmersley-bo
Where it’s captured by savages, made into dough.

Gorbalee, gorballet, all the savages say
As they pummel dried birds into powder:
“Let’s make the duck thinner, then bake it for dinner
As part of a gravital chowder.”
