Photo: a few of my favorite fallen logs in Tallman State Park. Yes, I pick favorites among fallen logs, since they are not all created equal. Check these logs out! In death they have become true and glorious beauties of life and creation.
Even the stones behind them sing.
I’ve spent many years now giving away useful meaningful information about inner work, all gleaned from a great deal of suffering, which is the brick and mortar of anything real in Being. Mostly without charging people any money for it, though I am more inclined to do that as I get older and crankier.
Along the way, I’ve noticed that even if you offer someone something of real value for free, more often than not, they won't bother taking it. Most human beings, if you offer them spiritual gold, will just walk straight past it as though it didn't even exist. I do this kind of thing at the office; I love the people there deeply, but for the most part anything of potential spiritual value I put in front of them goes (with a few notable exceptions) right by the wayside.

Even the ones I don’t like and who are horrible to others are worth loving.
