Now we come to a question that’s more esoteric, that is, the aggregation of mass and its reciprocal nature on both the physical and the metaphysical plane.
We’ve examined the fact that the word "molecules" originally came from a Latin word that meant "mass," and we understand from this that the word itself was originally crafted in order to describe the way in which mass or substance aggregates and congregates.
Both of those words (mass and substance) mean, more or less, ”to come together in a flock.” The word “flock” it self originally comes from the Latin floccus, which means a lock or tuft of wool. And the analogy is apt; atoms and their “offspring” molecules gather together in woolly little bunches that have mass. They do so because of physical laws that create innate attractions between those selfsame atoms of which they are composed.
This is how things work on the physical plane. What we don't well understand as human creatures is that things work that way metaphysically as well—even though we embody that fundamental fact in our very nature. (We have become adepts, in our sleep, at forgetting our nature.) Ideas, thoughts and feelings—essential components of beings— are metaphysical entities related to the impressions that arise from the perception of what we call reality. They’re metaphysical because they’re esoteric – ideas, thoughts, and feelings only arise within organisms that can perceive and have agency. They are inner not so much because they take place within bodies, which are merely loci for manifestation, but because they exist within consciousness. (This is a very important distinction so do not forget it.)
