Judgement—Element 13

The first of the Elemental Virtues, Judgement is one of the chief molecular components of the essential heavenly vitamins of intelligence. It blends with all the other features of sentience and tempers them, imparting many important qualities without which intelligence would cease to function intelligently and degrade into stupidity or, even worse, malice.

It does this by magnifying the action of many of the Elemental Powers such as insight, perception, alertness and others.  Firstly, it imparts flexibility; secondly, it strengthens; third, and above all, it intensifies the force of Discrimination, the element that allows beings to distinguish between Truth and Falsehood. This may seem like a minor property—after all, discernment in relation to Truth and Falsehood is an instinctive organic property of all Sentient beings in the cosmos, whether of organic or inorganic formation—but you would be surprised!
